wil

My name is Wil and I have been a chef for over 20 years. I have also been over-weight for my entire life. When I was in high school I weighed 185, then in college, 225, then in culinary school, 250. Five years later, I was up to 325, and the heaviest I have ever been was 385.
I love my job and the opportunity to make others happy with what I do. I don't blame my job for my size, although it would be easy to do. My problem was actually my lack of knowledge about how to live a healthy life and maintain a healthy weight. I have tried a variety of diets and "lost" weight several times, only to "find it" over and over again. I finally realized that I was responsible for my health and I needed to commit to getting healthy, once and for all.
On the Habits of Health program I have been able to lose the fat, regain my energy and feel great about myself because I have also learned how I can maintain this healthy state.
During this transition, I have never felt like I was starving myself, had the usual cravings, or turned to food for comfort in stressful situations. My starting weight was 337 and my goal weight is 170. I'm so enthusiastic about this program that I want to share my success story and how this program has changed my life. Every day I see people like I was, miserable with themselves and uncomfortable in their surroundings. My goal now is to share how this program continues to teach me how to improve my life and let others know what it can do for them.
The weight loss phase of the program was just the beginning, I now look forward to living a long and healthy LIFE! (Clients can expect to lose up to 2-5 lbs. per week for the first 2 weeks and up to 1-2 lbs. thereafter)
